so jeffrey and i were driving down university tonight to get back to my apt to do some hw and sleep when we met a couple of assholes. this one honda sped by us and was followed by a faster bmw who sped by and away. we saw a couple of cars race across one side of university to the other and cut a lot of people off. and then the honda raced off to who knows where and the bmw slowed down from 65ish to 40? anyway, the bmw was driving next to us in the middle lane (we were in the left) when this dumb asshole in a low sports car with an ugly ass spoiler darts across the left side of university and into our lane. jeffrey slammed on the brakes and leaned on the horn and slowed down just enough to not let us die. and then the crazy bmw sped up and cut the ugly spoiler off! he cut him off and slowed down! HA! dumb bitch. anyway, both the spoiler and bmw took a right onto 19th — totally opposite side of the street this happened on. blahblahblah. a big thank you to the bmw, you crazy. and a big FU to the asshole who cut us off. that’s how people die in car wrecks, dumbass.
the worst thing about working in retail is not the fact that it’s basically a constant clean-up of a child on a sugar high running through the store, but the part where i see so many cute clothes and then have dreams about buying them all. and then putting my paycheck right back to where it came from.
ALL THE TIME. monday, i was going to the bathroom and this little asian kid was standing in the hall all by himself by the water fountain. he said hi, and i said hi back, and then i asked him where his mom was and which way he was going. aaaaaand he stared. and then i left because it was weird.
